Tuesday lunchtime : LISIÈRES
In a world marked by violence, trauma and ecological collapse, LISIÈRES explores the fragilities of a generation still learning how to inhabit the world. On stage, bodies, sounds, gestures and voices mingle and transform. Language fragments, bearings blur, creating a space where the boundary between presence and absence becomes uncertain. At the heart of the story, four women — Ismène, Antigone, Jocaste and Eurydice, from the Labdacid line — carry histories of violence, wounds and transmission. Through them we see the traces left by what passes from one generation to the next, and the different ways of facing life and carrying on. How do you keep living, creating and connecting when your bearings falter? Conceived and directed by Emmy Houssais, LISIÈRES is a sensitive journey through individual and collective fragilities, at the boundary between what comes undone and what seeks to rebuild.
Wednesday lunchtime : Bouffonnerie (outdoors)
Bella has two lovers. The only hitch: neither accepts the other. One day she sets up a meeting in a car park and nothing goes as planned. Against a backdrop of convoluted speech and mechanic get-up, Bouffonnerie explores the trials of romantic relationships and their endless ways of working.
Saturday lunchtime : VΛLENTINE
Influenced by Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone and Adele, VΛLENTINE tells her stories in song — the moments when she feels alone, powerless or misunderstood. Her songs may speak of solitude, loss of confidence, strength, taboo moments or childhood memories. Accompanied by her pianist Yoann, VΛLENTINE offers a moment of tenderness and expression to let go for a lunchtime hour.
