Once again, CHUT Festival celebrates amateur cinema — by beginners, enthusiasts, or anyone with a story to tell.
After our open call, we received shorts of every kind, echoing the festival themes. Here is the selection screening on Wednesday 11 November, across several sequences.
Pay-what-you-can screenings, from €1 per sequence. Vote as you watch; awards are announced at the Violet evening.
How do screenings work?
- The programme is split into four themed categories. Each category brings together five short films.
- At each screening, you watch all five films in that category, one after another — allow about one hour per session.
- Showtimes are listed under each category title (two sessions per category during the day).
Two audience prizes
Comfort Prize
For the film that felt good, comforted you, or sparked a particular emotion — whatever its craft or story.
Originality Prize
For the film whose singular way of approaching its subject surprised, challenged or moved you.
Friendly howl
In a world where adventures and songs can coexist, friends (imaginary or not) remain resources for getting through real-life trials.

Echo acide
Directed by Moulin Elsa
During a free-party night, Aimée slips into a psychedelic trip where reality and illusion dissolve. She hears the echo of an answer — a buried truth ready to resurface in a dream.
Petit Tom

Girlhood
